‘Tis the season for emerald green. Although there are several festive colors to choose from (i.e. red, gold, silver), emerald green has always been my favorite. I think this mesmerizing jewel tone looks great on all skin colors, especially on tan skin. Last year I found this beautiful satin wrap maxi dress at Forever 21 for $27! I love how this dress makes me feel like a million bucks without spending a million bucks! I wore it last year and I’m going to wear it again this year for Christmas. A satin wrap dress is one of those classic pieces that I see myself wearing again and again. Not only am I going to wear it during the holidays, but it is appropriate for a wedding, date night or a gala.
I wore this particular outfit to a holiday dinner, so I wanted my outfit to be fancy. And nothing says ‘fancy’ better than a faux fur scarf. This faux fur scarf has been a winter staple over and over again. I have worn it with dresses, over the collar of moto jackets, and underneath peacoats. It’s a great winter investment. To add more sass, I threw on a pair of cheetah print strap heels which works so well with the color green. I also wore beaded tassel earrings that went well with my beaded evening clutch.
