What I wore: Vintage sweater, H&M crop top (similar), TopShop jeans, Aldo booties (similar), Michael Kors bag (on sale!)
I’ve gotten quite a few compliments on this sweater. When I’m asked about where I got this one-of-a-kind sweater, I proudly say, “My grandma’s closet!” A search through my grandma’s closet for a warm cover up quickly turned to love at first sight. The bold, thick stripes of the dark tones compliment my olive skin.
Like this sweater, I’ve gotten lucky in finding second hand items that has become a staple in my closet. The only thing that I love more than finding a great fashon find is finding a CHEAP fashion find. So I strongly encourage you all to go thrift shopping. There’s plenty of vintage, quality clothing waiting to be worn and become an asset to your modern day outfit.
Also, can I say how happy I am to find out that TopShop has a petite section!? Hallelujah! Unfortunely, the Bay Area is deprived of a TopShop location, so I had to snatch a pair before I left Los Angeles. The stretchy denim hugs my curves in all the right places. I’ll definitely be ordering more pairs online.
