The much awaited Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is finally here! I’m sure most of you guys have your favorites bookmarked and ready to be purchased. For those of you who are rookies, the Anniversary Sale is an annual sale that occurs from July 22-August 7. However, those who are Nordstrom debit card or a credit card holders have early access to the sale from July 14-21.
If you aren’t a card holder, I suggest getting one. Not only do you get early access to sales like these, there are plenty of other perks:
– For every $1,000 spent on your card, you get $20 Nordstrom Notes. That’s FREE money that you can spend anytime and anywhere in Nordstrom. I love Nordstrom’s Spa, so I’ll use my card when I get spa services done.
– Sometimes Nordstrom will have double and even triple point weekends where you can earn more points per dollar than you would normally would. Who doesn’t like to be rewarded for shopping?!
– There’s two different types of Nordstrom Cards: the debit card and the credit card. I opted for the debit card because I struggle with paying my credit card bills on time. If you choose to sign up for the credit card, you can also use the card outside of the store and purchase everyday items like gas and groceries.
– Nordstrom offers clothing alterations. Non-card holders will have to pay for this services. Card holders will have to pay for this as well, but get the cost of services given back to them through Nordstrom Notes. As a petite woman who needs to have denim hemmed often, I find this to be an awesome perk!
– You get access to VIP shopping events, holiday shopping party, and much more as you gain more points. For more info, click here.
Shoppers have different goals when going into a sale. Personally, I’m focusing on prepping for Fall Fashion. That means boots, crossbody bags and jackets. Below are my favorites from this year’s sale. To scope out what else is on sale, check out the Nordstrom Catalog here.
1. Louise et Cie ‘Jael’ Suede & Leather Shoulder Bag – A snakeskin bag for the Fall is a must have. And because it has neutral tones, this can go with anything
2. Vince Camuto ‘Abril’ Leather Shoulder Bag – When I think of Fall, I think of natural tones like brown, chestnut and saddle. This shoulder bag totally fits the bill. The structure is briefcase-like, making it work friendly.
3. Rebecca Minkoff Dog Clip Leather & Suede Saddle Bag – Everyone’s Fall wardrobe needs to include some berry tones. This Rebecca Minkoff bag totally caught my eye. I think it’s clear that I’m leaning towards saddle bags this season haha.
4. Vince Camuto ‘Melaya’ Over the Knee Boot – As I’ve mentioned above, I’m diggin’ dark earth tones. I’m loving the bark suede and the wooden chunky heel. The calf circumference also is stretchable. For all the curvy, thick calved women like me out there, THIS IS FOR YOU!
5. Steve Madden ‘Pistol’ Bootie – A simple black bootie needs to be staple in every womens’ closet. I’ve seriously worn mine out, so I’m due for a new pair. Thank god for Nordy’s Anniv Sale 😉
6. BLANKNYC ‘Easy Rider’ Faux Leather Moto Jacket – Green is my all-time favorite Fall color. Put it on a badass moto jacket and I’m obsessed. Can’t wait to wear this one out!
7. Rebecca Minkoff ‘Avery’ Crossbody Bag – I am a lover of all things suede. Nothing makes me happier than material that feels like butter. With that said, I had to snag this all-suede RM crossbody. I also got this bag in SANDSTONE.
