Last month I got invited by Kit and Ace to check out their Spring Collection at their Walnut Creek location. I met with one of their associates, Chanel, who asked for my feedback on their clothing line. I was so flattered when asked to have this fashion session. I thought, “You guys want feedback on your designs from me?!” Of course, I enjoyed every minute of it. I picked out items that appealed to me and tried them on.
If you’re not familiar with this brand, Kit and Ace is a clothing line that branched out from Lululemon. The founders wanted to use the same flexible fabric found in fitness attire and apply it to everyday clothing. This resulted in a line made up of clothing articles that are both fashionable and functional.
When I learned more about Kit and Ace, the concept intrigued me and it totally made sense. Don’t you have those days where you’re running errands in your workout gear? But you don’t wear them for style, you wear them for comfort. Well, Kit and Ace incorporated flexibility and fashion into one clothing line. As I tried each item, I felt the quality of the material. The quality is exceptional. The fabric is soft–like butter on my skin. The fabric is durable as well. I could see myself wearing their pieces to run errands, to work, or hanging out with friends. And with these items so well made, I know they would last me a lifetime.
During the session, I gave the staff feedback on designs I like/do not like and why. I left the store with two items that I absolutely love–the Belmont Bra and the Just Flow With It Sleeveless Top, which I’ve styled below. I’ve also included links to my favorites items from their collection.
