About a month ago, Herradura Tequila reached out to me to host a Happy Hour event. Having been a fan of Herradura Tequila for quite some time now, I was so ecstatic! I replied with a confident ‘yes’ and began the process of planning the event. Instead of promoting the event as a happy hour, I wanted to create a theme around it.
When I think of a happy hour event, I correlate it with networking and socializing. Then it dawned on me that I would turn this happy hour event into a bloggers’ networking event. San Francisco has a decently sized blogger community, but most of these bloggers have never met. We have a perception of each other based on what we see on social media. I knew that this event would be a great opportunity for local bloggers to get to know each other on a personal level. I saw this event as a chance to not only support each other in the blogger community, but to also build long lasting friendships.
For the venue, I chose Mamacita on Chestnut street. Located in the Marina District, Mamacita is a restaurant specializing in traditional Mexican dishes and delicious tequila based cocktails. The hanging lights and the photography decor radiates rustic Mexicana; perfect ambiance to promote the Herradura brand.
Throughout the night we munched on nachos, chilaquiles and tacos, while sipping on crafted cocktails made with Herradura tequila. Below are pictures that capture the awesome night. Enjoy!
