If you’re looking for a fusion of global fare, boy have I found the spot for you!
Located 10 minutes from downtown Napa, Heritage Eats provides a kick-back atmosphere for those who want to put their palate through an international excursion. This fine eatery was founded by Benedict Koenig and Chef Jason Kupper. Together they have brought you a menu that includes wraps, buns, bowls, sandwiches, and tacos for $10 or less.
Get a spicy kick by grabbing a Jamaican Bao, Jamaican jerk chicken dressed in slaw inside a Chinese bun; or feel the fiery of coriander in their Chicken Tikka Masala Wrap, slow cooked chicken with fire grilled veggies and rice. If you’re feeling spontaneous, you can customize your eats. First, choose from one of their meats: slowed cooked and knowledgeably sourced. Next, figure out if you want it wrapped (pita bread, Bao buns, dutch bread just to name a few) or in a bowl. Then dress it with a few sides and douse it with one or a few of their ten signature sauces. The staff was gracious and offered a sample of all ten sauces.
Each of their sauces are delicious but nothing beats the flavorful BOOM sauce, which makes a great condiment to ANY dish. I don’t know what they’ve put into this concoction, but it has me pouring it over everything. I personally suggest drizzling it over sweet potato fries and/or the Jamaican Bao.
