How to Be the Bee's Knees - Justina Vanessa

Not long ago, William the Beekeeper asked me to put together three looks at their shop. I was very happy to do so. I love their clothing selection and home goods, among many other things. But learning about their mission made me fall in love with their boutique even more.

William the Beekeeper is located in the Inner Richmond neighborhood on Clement and 2nd Ave. All of their curated products comes from sustainable companies; many of which are located right in San Francisco! They have everything from jewelry, women and men fashion, ceramics, art, succulents, and last but not least…honey!

Not only do they support local talent, but they support the community as well. A portion of every purchase goes back into the San Francisco community. So not only will you feel good about buying yourself something new, you can feel good about the environmental-friendly product that you’re purchasing and feel good about giving back.

The ambiance of the shop is rustic southwestern. You see the southwestern influences in the ceramic jewelry, leather bags and clothing. For my first look I wanted to capture that vibe. This casual look features this lovely fringed caftan which I paired with my Lucky Brand jeans and Sol Sana booties. This casual blouse is loose and comfy; perfect for running around the city in. And if you’re making moves around the city, a messenger bag to hold all your necessities is a must. I’m in love with the durability of the leather bag, the magenta pattern and fringe along the borders.

For my second look, I wanted to wear something more simple so I could highlight this awesome fanny pack! I opted for a crew neck sweater and a striped top. This cashmere crew neck sweater is so comfy, I could wear it all day!
