It's Spring! - Justina Vanessa

Spring is officially here! It’s time to store away the jackets and coats and bring out the floral and pastels. For the last two months, San Francisco has been drenched with rain. For a while I was thinking, “When is this rain going to end?!” But once the storm cleared, I saw what good the rain did for our beautiful city. The hills are lush and green. Cherry blossoms are in full bloom. I appreciate the little bit of flowers we get in this urban city. For instance, this beautiful block in Pacific Heights blew me away. The colorful tulips and the cherry blossoms instantly caught my eye. I knew I had to shoot with Rachel Radcliffe there.

As I’ve mentioned in my Spring Shopping Guide, one shoulder tops is one of my favorite spring trends. This particular one is from ChicWish and currently on sale for $55. It’s a well made top for an affordable price. I especially love the ruffles along the top. The top is a little long for my petite torso (I’m 5’0), so I decided to tuck my top into my jeans. I may decide to have the bottom hemmed in the future.

This adorable floral 3D purse is made by my friend and fashion blogger, Melissa San Vincente. She had crafted a similar 3D purse that I had total goo-goo eyes for. Since then, I’ve been hoping she’d stop keeping all her amazing DIY products to herself and make multiple pieces that she could sell. And she finally did! I saw the “Chloe” and I was in love! I love the pop of yellow and it make’s my blue cohesive outfit more interesting. Not to mention, the flowers are totally on cue for the season. Check out the rest of the purses here.
