This past June, I decided to celebrate my birthday more spontaneously. Instead of having a small gathering like I did last year, I decided to celebrate all month long with four unique events. One of which was a cocktail hour at Tropisueno, my favorite mexican restaurant in San Francisco! With the help of my friends from Woodford Reserve and Herradura Tequila, I teamed up with Tropisueno’s best bartender, Sergio Dorado, to conjure up a signature cocktail list that I could present to my guests. First, I created names for the signature cocktails and gave Sergio the flavor profile that I wanted for each cocktail. Once he understood what I wanted, he then created the rest of the ingredients for each cocktail. And BOOM! A signature cocktail list was created.
Below are the four cocktails we created along with their corresponding cocktail names. Feel free to use these cocktail recipes at your next gathering, or even put a twist on it and give it a new name!
