Ruffle Sleeve Sweater

Within the last two weeks, the temperature in SF has drastically dropped. I’m hitting the web and making major purchases in the sweater and jacket department. Yes, I’m sure we want to be bundled up like the Michelin Tire mascot. But you shouldn’t compromise style while doing so.

I’ve been scoping out different ways in which outerwear has been making headway and I must say, I’ve never been more excited to layer up this winter. Trends that have been under my radar are velvet moto jackets, faux fur jackets, camel coats…..and sweaters with lots and lots of ruffles!

Ruffle is giving an update to the redundant cable knit sweater. The detail is cute, sassy and feminine. I saw this trend spread like wildfire on the runways, and now it’s hitting the streets. An online boutique that I’ve been a major fan of is Chicwish. Chicwish definitely has mastered feminine flare with their chiffon tops, flared skirts and floral dresses.

I’m a fan of their sweater selection. Some have bell sleeves (love, love, love), some have an open back, and other with cold shoulders. I’ve been wanting to add a ruffle sweater to my closet and this particular one definitely caught my eye. It’s fun, sassy, and, most importantly, cozy. The material on this sweater is thick, so you’ll get plenty of warmth out of it.
