During Memorial Day weekend, I took a much needed trip to Puerto Vallarta. When I was planning this getaway, what I had in mind was complete relaxation. And when I say relaxation, I mean laying out poolside with margarita in hand. When my sister and I arrived at the resort, I was so amazed by the gorgeous pools and hot tubs that Grand Fiesta Americana had to offer. I mean….look at it!
Bar inside the pool?! YES PLEASE.
That infinity pool though.
Lots and lots of hours were spent drinking and eating by the pool. Good thing I packed my favorite swimsuits for the trip. This season I am definitely diggin’ one-pieces. One-piece swimsuits has long had a bad rap for being “frumpy” or lacking sex appeal. But with the new cuts and designs that are coming out, one-pieces are anything but that.
Wearing a one-piece allows opportunity for you to explore patterns and designs. And with high-thigh cuts and cutouts, a one-piece can create the illusion of slender features while hiding those “not so slender” features (aka instant tummy tuck).
Below, I’ve round up the swimsuits that I wore to Puerto Vallarta.
